Online orthopaedic education is changing. There are many beautifully-illustrated online resources, some with vast question banks to test your knowledge. The difficulty is that all of this can be achieved with a book! The Internet can do so much more. Bonesetters uses the media capabilities of modern websites to provde you with a rich educational experience, which cannot be obtained from a book. Bonesetters is an orthopaedic education website, rather than being an orthopaedic information resource.
The orthopaedic curriculum is divided into bite-size modules. To unlock a module, you must take the pre-module quiz. Most of the educational content is provided as short (approximately 10-minute) instructional presentations. After each presentation, you are asked to record your own notes to reflect on the main learning points to sign the topic off. Once all topics are signed off in a module, you can take the post-module quiz to test your knowledge. Notes that you have made can be downloaded for your future reference.
